May: Directly after arriving in Europe for the first time, I
spent about five weeks travelling around the western parts before settling in
Dublin. Having flown KLM from Sydney, my first stop was
Amsterdam, where I spent a few nights before heading
off to Paris, where I stayed a few nights before joining
up with a coach tour that had left London a few days earlier.
The coach tour visited 12 countries in 17 days, from
Paris, to Barcelona via
Bordeaux, on to Nice and then
Pisa, Florence and
Venice, followed by
Innsbruck, Munich, and Lichtenstein, on into
Switzerland's Lauterbrunnen, and Lucerne. Then,
back through Germany via Heidelberg, and
Brussels through Luxembourg. From
Brussels, we headed back over the channel to
London via Calais.
After spending a few nights in London, I journeyed
North to Glasgow for a few weeks, and then on to
Dublin.
Here's a selection of photos from some of the places I visited.
