The tree starts with three cones and three spheres and literally grows over fifteen images into 131 070 primitives. It's worth noting here that all the images and databases have been rendered exactly as they were generated by the SPD programs and according to the testing specifications, with two exceptions. The intensities of the light sources were tweaked manually and in the case of the tree animation, the first two frames are not from the SPD generator - the tree database at size one is the third frame, but this would start the animation with the tree already half grown, so...
